The lever at the top left is used to clear the result register, which can only be done once the register has been lifted.


The design of this machine was quite avant-garde for its time. It is evident from the craftmanship and quality of materials that cost was not a factor in the manufacture of these machines.

The lever on the result register above is used to clear the revolution counter. 


With the result register lifted, the intricate mechanisms can be viewed and serviced.


The case features a sliding bottom panel that can be used to access the drums and gears without having to detach the machine from its base.
