As you can see from the photo above, this Facit was an Odhner-type machine with a result register, slide settings, and a revolution register. This model featured two different methods of advancing the result register. The register could be moved to the left or the right, one place at a time, by depressing one of the two large keys above (left). The register could be moved by several places at a time by depressing one of the ten smaller keys keys above and rotating the handle, which would stop when it arrived at the appropriate place. |
